St Mary's Renovation
St Mary's Primary School
Beginning with a Master Plan process involving students, staff and parents, b3architects design transformed the aging north wing of the well established delightful campus of St Mary's in Rushworth.
Access to an underutilised semi-basement was provided via a whole of school assembly space. The art and STEM room with easy access to an external covered area occupies the lower level. The upper level was transformed to provide access from the two refurbished learning areas to the central courtyard connecting learners visually and physically with the south wing administration and library. A feature graphic facing Southam Street designed by Flying Pig Design playfully references local flora and fauna.
