Compact House renovation aimed to maximise the potential of the existing small house without creating significant additional built form on its small site.

By reconfiguring the existing house layout & adding only 30m² of additional footprint, an additional bedroom and ensuite were gained as well as a well-functioning new kitchen & dining area with a direct connection to the outdoor space.

A calm palette of materials brings a focus to the light that filters into the house, and the large sliding doors with high level windows above create a strong connection to the constantly changing external environment from within.
