The planning of this senior specific facility was based on a cracked earth pattern expressing the adversity of drought in this rural community. Bright coloured walls separate the primary learning areas that all flow and connect with a sinuous gallery and common space. A communal kitchen is a favoured collaboration area of the students. The exterior of the building is red brick that relates to the tradition buildings of the school and adjacent church. Symbolic gestures are built into the façade of the building and the internal courtyard.
