Project Description
SACRED HEART SCHOOL NEW GLAS AND OUTDOOR LEARNING
Two new General learning Areas were needed for the growing primary school in Tatura. Following a masterplan review they were grafted onto the side of the existing traditional red brick classroom wing. The configuration facilitates access to the lively outdoor learning space from six of the existing classrooms. The tiered curved amphitheatre seating areas are addressed by a swivelling smartscreen / whiteboard to enable flexibility of learning. Principal Trish Miller was pivotal in mobilising the whole school community participation in the design process and curated the fitout of the courtyard nooks.
